Creatively Done Kids!

My 4 boys are getting bigger and smarter..
But some things just remain the same..
The quarrels, the fights, the teasing..the mocking..
And every time they do any of those or other similar things, I never jump in too fast..
The right parenting reason is to let them try to solve things between them by themselves..
But actually, the fun part is, I noticed that they get more creative in teasing each other..
And I try not to laugh when this happens..

They always when going down or up the stairs, or getting in or out from the car, entering the house,..
Everything that involves queuing, taking turns..they'll fight over it..
I've reached that place where I just don't wanna even hear them fighting about this..
So, whenever it happens..I would just let them take their time..
And then one morning going to school, that usual moment when getting in the car..
The young ones start to fight over getting in the car first,

then kakak said..
Ladies first..
and gave way for them..

Off course, no one then didn't want to get in..hihihihi..
It took time after then, waiting for them to finally get in the car..but it was worth the wait..hahaha..

Going to the mall is still a big challenge for me confronting the twins..
They will still nag for things..toys, books, whatever..
My last reaction is just to ignore them..
It takes time, but eventually they'll stop nagging..
Turns out the older ones are starting to get annoyed,

and they came up with..
Little boy, do you want to buy this toy..
with an exaggerated sweet voice and gesture as if they're talking to a very young little kid..

And off course, the twins don't want to be called little anymore or treated like one..
They'll just stop! Just like that..hahaha..

And these things are contagious..
hahahaha.. Maybe the idea definitely came from the older ones..
But now, every now and then, the young ones will say the same thing to their older brothers..
And that..is even more hilarious..

Save the Best for Last..

The twins are in elementary school this year..
Hard..hard..hard work for me..
After the experience of graduating my eldest from elementary school and Raihan, my second son in 4th grade..
I thought it's gonna be easier..
Nope! Not even close..

It's not about giving them less attention because they're my last kids,
It's about financially, now, with 3 boys in elementary and 1 in junior high school, I just can't afford the luxury of giving them basic courses that I had easily given the older ones
Back then, giving the older boys reading and writing course, English course, Kumon course when they were still in preschool was so taken for granted.
I easily thought, I was just not patient enough to teach them the basics.
So, when Rizqi and Raihan first entered elementary, they were all prepared.
No worries.

But with the twins now,
Without any courses, I've got so many things to do!
OK! the basic of the basic: Reading
I bought that learning how to read in 30 or 40 or 60 something hours books.
And I don't have any ideas, which book is good..
I just run through the books briefly before buying them or checking out the title with the less hours taken to learn..hehehe..
and I also like compare the price..but then because I'm such a graphic person, I look for the ones which are visually good. So long for don't judge the book by its cover..
But then, between the much time taken to pick a book or two, I thought..come on! so what if I didn't buy the best book..It's reading! How difficult can that be?
Yeah..Now, you tell me...It's breathtakingly difficult..

And I don't want to make excuses, but them being twins has taken difficult to a doubled higher level..
Seriously, I'm not blowing this out of proportion..hehehe..
Well, it's not as easily saying because there are 2 of them..
But these two are twins. Who extremely compete with one another. Extremely.
At first, I taught them together at one time. Wrong first move.
Obviously, one is going to be faster than the other.
Then the slower one, would have just gave up and started acting up.
I literally had to use different books for the two them just because they don't want to be compared with one other.

Owkaayy,
One by one, it is.
That turned out just fine after fighting over who's going first. Not to mention, the one who went second distracting the first one or the other way around, the first one being a smarty pants when it's the second one's turn.

I'm older (by 3 minutes), so I get to go first...Why am I always the last just because I'm younger...
When one of them was in the middle of trying to read something, than the other will give the face..I know! I know!..it's sooo easy..how could you not know this..

I think I was just a bit rusty and went through a bumpy start..Off course..we have to set the rules first!
So, we came up with a fair schedule that includes taking turns, time slot, and no distractions of any kind..

Pffiiuuuhh..One subject covered..

But then, I kept on being behind schedule with the twins..
I knew they had trouble in English, later after they had their school work given back to them..with bad scores..
That was a bit embarrassment for me as an English teacher. Not because they got bad scores but the fact that it pictures how I didn't give them the attention needed.

Not like their older brothers, which I made them going to courses before they even know what they wanted, the twins asked to go to courses..Reading, Kumon, and English..and swimming..and taekwondo..and drums..
So, between trying to keep up with the budget and not to look too stingy in front of the twins :p, I gave them the luxury to go to Kumon course.
At last..everyone's happy!
The twins finally could go to a course..
and I'm the happiest..off the hook!

Special Ones..

I try my best not to play favorites on people..
As a mom, I don't have a favorite kid..
As a teacher and lecturer, I don't have a favorite student..

It doesn't mean that there are no one special..
It somehow means the opposite..every each and one of them are special..
That sounded so cliche, so corny, so cheesy..hahaha..ok! got it!
yet that's the truth!

I spend my forever with my kids..
Special moments with special feelings happens now and then..
No timing at all..
No matter how small or big the moments are..
No matter how often or rarely it happens..
When it happens, it just does
Whether you're prepared for it or not..
and I'm the type of person that doesn't look at a special moment to have to be a good moment
Bad moments, are also special moments..
All of those moments shows process..learning process, growing process..
And each of those moments, strengthen their personality and reminds you how special they are..
It's a bit hard when you're dealing with course's students..
You meet them on such brief of moment..
You gotta catch the moment right away..
The longer you've been teaching, the more you're experienced to getting to know these kids..
And it's amazing, how most of these kids are so open to you..
Trust you with things, not holding back..
Well, the younger are more trusting then others..
Preteens and teenagers are a bit tricky..
Yet in my (old) age with a preteen home myself, I have tricks of my own..

My college students are different stories..
You also got to deal them right away, with their work..
But as they've reached that certain age, as an adult, they keep their distance..
The first few meetings when you first know them, you'll get the first impression of them..
I try not to put a label right away..
You've gotta earn their trust in the process..
The learning process then is the moment that you'll get to know them the best..
By then, I am forced to put label on them..
At this point, some people see it as playing favorite..
But in fact, it shows you and also pointing out to them how special they are
and with doing that, I know how to deal with each and every one of them..personality per personality!
They are different..and because of that, they have to be treated differently..
There are limitations..there are rules and requirements, there's also a standard achievement..
That's why I'm so into wanting to be involve in the process..
that's where all the hard work happens, make use of their weaknesses and strengthen their strong points..
and you can aim the result from there on..

Everyone's special..
In their own and special way..
It's a pleasure to have known and be a part of these special people..

It's a Mom thing..

Maybe I’m just an easy person to pleased..

Maybe I’m just being a mommy..

But simple things..
When it involves my boys..
just gets to me..
Easily..

Proud..
That’s for sure..
Overwhelmed..
Sometimes happens..

And I’m feeling this,
Just because I’d been taking my boys report books for 2 days..
and talking to their teacher about them..
Not all good things..not so good things as well..
but for me..
I just love to watch them grow..
even the most little improvement is good..
Can you imagine, how I feel..
If they achieve something great..

LOL..
How silly is that..
It’s soooo a mommy’s thing..

A piece of the bitterness of life for my kids..

It’s hard being a kid..

Their cruel..
I remember my days back then as a kid..
I’m this overweight, not that smart, not that pretty girl..
Girls talk behind your back..
Boys shout it out at their friends all around you..
Horrible..

But maybe, since a kid I have always been able to block my emotion..my feeling..
Not ignorant..
because, deep down inside..it hurts..
but, from the outside..
It looked as if I didn’t care..

It’s just the way it is..I guess.
Rizqi, my oldest, 11 years old, have always had problems about this..

The difference from me is..
Rizqi is such an emotional person..
He blows up..erupts for exact.. whenever he hits this..
And those kids..will just looove when this happens..and do even worse..
He’ll shout, cries of frustration, and the worst time was when he took down the kid..punched him..

But more than that..
He’s a smart, well manered, well behave kid..
And that even make things worse..

Because I’ve always felt that it’s just the way it is..
I have never tried to change the situation..
And that’s the thought that I’m passing to my kids..
There will always be people like that..
There always have been..and there always will be..
Even when you get older..it’ll be the same..or worse..
You can’t control it..
What you can do is..
Do the right thing!
Ignore them first..
Stand up for yourself..but don’t lower yourself to their level..
Just be cool..

The talk with him ended nicely..
Everyone shared similar stories and how they handled them..
Me, my husband, Raihan my second son, 7 years old..and even my 4 years old twins, Tama and Dika..
So, it made it clearer that he wasn’t the problem..
that everyone had experienced similar stories..

It takes time to change the world..
I’ll just have to prepare my kids to face it..for now
GREAT FAMILY TIME!!

Favourite Things..

I just love to explore what my sons love to do..

What they’re interested in..

My first son, Rizqi, he’s 11, loves to follow instructions and explore..
That’s why, his favourites are

Lego..because he can follow the instruction step by step..
but then, he can take it apart again and make different things..
you can modified it, combine it with other lego..

Browsing the internet..because he can explore whatever he wants to find anything that he wanted to know.

Mathematics..because it involves exploring as well to get the answer.

Raihan, my second son, he’s 7, loves interacting with others

That’s why, his favourites are..
Playing with other kids..tag, hide and seek, and others

he’s got more friends compare to all his brothers’ put in together..

Even the twins, they’re 4, are different one from the other..
Tama, he’s a little bit like Rizqi, serious when doing things..

He’s good in competing..
anything that involves racing..

He’s good in his fine motoric..
he’s fantastic in drawing..

Dika, he’s into performing..
He loves to sing, move his body..
He loves to wear costumes and do roleplays..
his favourite character changes from time to time..
But his favourites are Spiderman (he knows Peter Parker story and

all) and Wolverine (he insist to collect his figurine..and still dreaming of the wolverine arm thingy..)

He’s also into the stories behind it..
He loves to listen to stories..
his favourite now is Peter Pan..
but any stories will do..

It’s always fun to know
all of them are different..
yet all, very interesting..

Though off course they have something in common..

That runs in the blood..

Reading and drawing..

And I’m really into things that my sons are into..
So, having 4 sons with different interest are a bit confusing..yet fun..

How Do You Wake Up 4 Kids for School in the Morning..

1. Turn of the AC..

2. Pull their blankets..
3. Open the curtains and windows.

.

4. Greet them..Morniiiing Boooysss!!
5. Encourage them..
Are you ready for your school project today!! (which he’s been waiting for a couple of days now..)
or..
Don’t forget to bring your soccer uniform..today’s soccer day!! (he loves soccer..)
or simpler things for my twins..
Who’s number 1 to wake up!!
Who’s sitting up front in the car today!!

*up until all this effort, usually 1 out of 4, will wake up..*

6. Kiss them..
7. Tickle them..

*1 more will wake up..2 up 2 to go..*

8. Warnings!!
We’re gonna be late!!
We’re gonna be caught in traffic!!

*The third will wake up..last one..*

9. Last attempt..Promises..
After school, who wants to go to the minimarket to buy some candies..
Let’s look out for that new magazine after school.

.

*Finally..all of them are up…
Next..make them to take their bath, eat breakfast, get into the car,……..and still a long list to go*

Priceless..

The twins drag me to their school event this morning..

It was Sunday, 9 in the morning, at Citos..
My oldest son, Rizqi, and my husband were sick since Friday..

Actually, I forgot what time was the event suppossed to start..
But I’m certain that it won’t be at 9!!
The mall’s not open yet that time of the day anyway..

Still. The twins were so persisstent..
That if we didn’t go that time, they would be late..

FYI, They’ve been really enthusiastic due to this event, as all of my kids always are if there’s gonna be an event..
They’ve been talking about it and preparing for it since..forever
Me, on the other hand, have been a bit pre-occupied with their dad and big brother who were sick..

But having 4 kids, makes me really aware of this kinda things..
So, I tried my best not to make them feel left out..
I took serious consideration about their costume and talk to them about the rehearsels at school and how they’re gonna perform..

And..This morning,
they woke up really early, took a bath, dressed up and finish their breakfast without a fuss..
So, I just didn’t have the heart to turn down their excitement..
And decided to go with the flow, by willing to go that early without too many questions..
I also thought, that my hubby and Rizqi have been feeling better since the night before..and could be left

I’ve been texting some of the mommies and teachers along the way..
Asking about the event, what time.. what about the registration..and others..
But there’s no immediate answers from neither..

So, there we were..
9.30, Sunday morning, Citos..
And off course it’s empty..
The stores were just starting to open up, shopkeepers getting prepared,..
At Citos, you can see this the minute you drive through the lobby, right?
That’s why, at the still-empty parking lot, I took my time..
I haven’t put any make-ups yet, I haven’t put my contact lenses yet..I even haven’t brushed my hair yet..
While starting to do those, I explained to twins that we still gotta lots of time..
But the twins were sooo impatient..

So, after a quickie make-up session..
enough to cover a bit of my lack of sleeping look..
We went to the stage area, where the event was gonna be held out..
Just to reassure the twins, that they’re not late..Nobody wasn’t even there yet babe..
And afterwards I could get a grab of breakfast, which cost me 55 thousand for a coffee and bagel, because the twins insisted that we should sit near, where we could still see the stage from..which means, Starbucks!
No offense, Starbucks lovers..the coffee was great and the bagel was fulfilling and delicious..
But I’m writing as a person who always eats home for breakfast..well, a 5 thousand rupiahs bubur ayam for tops..I can get 11 bowls of bubur ayam for that..hihihi..

While we’re sitting, I read the texts that came in..and knew that the event won’t start until 12.30..
Hmmm..OK..
In my head, the plan was..try to stay as long as possible at one place..
I just know, if we start to move around, they will start asking to buy or do things out of my budget..

I managed to only go to 2 places, which were so functionable..having my breakfast, and the twins having their lunch..
My God, I felt like camping there..2 mealtimes at citos!!
Even, getting from one place to the other cost me something..
There were this bazaar for kids..so, ok..each, only one, please!!

After the twins lunch..
It started to get packed
All of their friends started to come..
and you know kids..they started to run around and jump here and there and everything..until they’re all sweaty..
I thought..OK, let them be..it’s gonna start soon anyway..
Well, it didn’t actually go like that..
It did start at 12.30..but the twins act wasn’t until 2.30..
I was all support at that time..they’re sweaty, sticky, tired, sleepy, cranky…

When finally it was the time..
The superhero costume fashion show!
They performed really..really great!!
It was surprising for me and for all the other parents to watch their performance..
They were having so much fun on stage..and felt so proud afterwards..
GREAT JOB KIDS!!

All the waiting’s paid..
Also the 12.000 rupiahs I’d got to pay for the parking fee..

He's 11 years old today..

My first born..

Boy..how he has grown..

A very taken care-off pregnancy..
Did everything that I was told to and everything that I read about.. all myths and scientifically..

A very baby-bluesed mommy I was after giving birth..tears of worries and joy come easily..

An over-protective new mommy I was, the first couples of years that I’ve got him..

A try-to-be laid back mommy I’m now..but keeps on forgetting and lose my coolness every now and then..

A try-to-be fair mommy for 4 of my boys..and not keep on blaming him or making him taking all the responsibility for his younger brothers..

Well,
It’s a process..
And I’m enjoying every minute of it..
The goods and the bads..
The ups and the downs..

For me, as the one who’s been watching him growing up..
He’s always been a very smart and sharp young man..
He’s always been passionate..
He’s always been able to pick the right from the wrong..

And now..
He’s been more caring..
He’s been more responsible..
He’s been more confident..
He’s getting wiser and more mature..

But..
He still sometimes gets too emotional..
He still sometimes gets selfish..
I know, he’s trying his best to get better..
and I wish I will always be there for him..

I know,
sometimes I just put my hopes too high for him..
sometimes I’m too hard on him..
My apologies, if along the way..I get annoyed, impatient, angry..

As I said it before..
It’s a process happenning..
Teach him everything that you know..the good from the bad..
Take care of him with all of your heart..
Try to do your best..so, there’ll be no regrets..
Be as patient as you possibly can..
And leave the rest in God’s hands..
..pray, that you’ve raised him right

Happy 11th Birthday kak!!
InsyaAllah, you’ll grow to be more respectful and more loving to God, your family, and your country..make them proud..
Hang your dreams as high as the stars..
Sky’s the limit..
And may all your dreams will come true..
Amin..

We're Old, dude!!

Despite of his knowledge of the latest games, PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, PSP, Nintendo DX, and others..

My husband knowledge of the kids other interest nowadays is very minimum..

Hard for you to admit this ay..

But you're getting old.. Hihihi..

Well, I can't say that I always update their new things..

Though, I do am always around them, talking (slash interrogating), doing stuffs together, taking them to places (slash stalking)

Still, there are so many things happening altogether in one time..

And you're gonna miss 1 or 2 things..

Its not like we wait on them 24-7..do we?

Justifications..

"What song is this? It sounds to cheerful"

*Ayah, this is the Phineas and Ferb soundtrack...

"What flavor do you kids want? Chocolate?"

*Ayah, I want the jelly wave or the cola fire..

"Kak, what's 25 x 11?"

*275, ayah. I'm learning factorial and square roots now..

"Oh, you can bring something to play to school! What are you bringing? Bey blade? Hot Wheels?"

*Can I bring the laptop, bu?..

"What is your foot size kak? 36.5 or 37?"

*It's 39, bu..

Yup! The kids are growing right in front of your bare eyes!!

And as they grow, we get older..

And It's getting more difficult to catch up with them..

Gotta be more 'gaol' a bit..

Well, one day..

I think if you try too hard to be 'gaol', it will be really embarrassing..

So, just accept the fact that we are getting older..

We maybe are getting too old to hang out with them..

But our love will never get too old..

Ok..get a rest old-men and old-women.. :P

Learning How to Let Go..

Actually, I'm a full time type of mommy..

If I could choose and possible, I would definitely prefer being a full time mommy rather than anything else..

I really liked the feeling of being in control of the house, the kids..

I was enjoying it a lot!

If someone never has experienced being a full time housewife,

Some couldn't have known how preoccupying the job is..

It's a 24 hours, 7 days non-stop job!!

I was so good in taking / dropping off / picking up the kids..

To / from school..

To / from courses places..

I'm almost always on time..

I hardly ever missed even a day..

I knew by heart all of my kids schedule..

I'd put all the things they need to bring for projects at school on the top of my list..

And will run straight away to get or buy those things..

I kept track on everything they do..

Homework, exams, projects, events..

And I was on everything that goes with those activities..

When then I had to start working Even though it was a part time job..

All of those things went a bit wobbly..

Once in a while, they started to forget to make their homework

I couldn't go running straight away whenever they ask something to bring for their projects..

I sometimes lose track of their daily exams, and they forgot to study..

And other things..

Minors, but for me it was a very significant disappointment..

So, I tried to replace my existence I made written schedules..

I called in to check on their studying..

I caught up with their exams' material when they're in school, by making summaries..

But still, It didn't work as well as I expected..

By then, I started realizing..

That the kids were to depending on me..

They'd got carried away by me always being there for them..

And the thing is..

They're getting older..

They have to start realizing their responsibilities..

They have to start taking consequences of their action..

So..

Now, I'm starting to learn how to let go..

Though I don't totally letting it go..

It's more like a bit combination of both method..

By doing that..

Me, myself don't get to stressed out..

And the kids are little by little growing more independent..

*a learning process..

Making Time..

I'm the keep on squeezing more things in my already full schedule type of person..

So for some people I'm pushy..

But for others, and me..myself, consider myself as effective..

There's just no excuse not to do something when it's still possible to do it..

I always run out of time..

There's always not enough time for things that I plan to do in a range of time..

So, I don't mind..

well, that's a bit harsh..

That sounds like I don't care..

it's more like..

I tolerate myself to make time for things that's on the way of me doing something..

SEKALIAN JALAN...

Even though, that will cost me being a bit late for the other things that's already planned..

Or making me running from one place to another..

doing from one thing to the other..

But most of the time, it's a possible thing to do..

Maybe it's caused by adrenaline rush..

Hahaha..how boring my life is!!

Getting adrenaline rush due to doing things out of schedule..

So I get annoyed whenever someone just can't make time for something that's counted as important or very important..

And I don't mean work..

The time that you spend for working is un-negotiable..

Although there's break time which you can use to do something out of work..

But I'm talking more about Time for your family..friends..

In the morning, After taking the kids to school I always go back home first..

To make time talking to my husband before he goes to the office..

Then I'll continue my day..

I try my best to go back and forth to pick up all of my 4 kids from school myself..

Just for the sake, talking to them about what they did at school that day..

Even though that means..

More gas..

And running myself to work in the afternoon..

At night, after work..

I give time talking to my kids..

While they're preparing for school the next day..

And for my twins, while accompanying them to sleep..

And if I still got the energy, talking with my husband afterwards..

My friends and cousins..

I'll make time whenever they have time..

and wanna hang out together..

Not that often, yet most of the time it's an intense chat..

My parents and parents in law, Every weekend that's make-possible for me to be at their place..

I miss my time with my siblings a bit though..

Don't have enough time for them as I wanted to..

And as I used to..

Due to each schedules and distance..

And it feels great..

Whenever you push a distance..

To make time for people and things that's important..

And enjoying that time..

Making the best of that time..

Have a great time with your love ones!!

The Twins on Kartini

Of all the heroine of Indonesia, she's the famous amongst all..
For one, she is the one who made a breakthrough for woman emancipation..
But, most of all, it's due to the things that we do on Kartini's Day..
On the 21st of April, every year
The school make their students to dress up in traditional costumes from all over this diverse country..
Which, for me, is nothing even near to the link of woman emancipation

Not festive enough,
they'll show it off by having a fashion show or fashion parade
Which, for me, I've always done it for my kids all the way..because, that's just the way I do stuffs..
For that reason, has caused 2 out of 4 of my boys have been collecting 3 trophies for those occasions..
That's another thing I feel bad for.. the fact that my boys winning trophies for Kartini's Day..
Isn't it supposed to be a woman thing..

Caused by that, for me, Kartini's Day has been just another costume party
So, it was a huge surprise for me
When the twins got back from kindergarten, on our way home..in the car..
They passionately talked about Kartini:

Bu, did you know..
Back then, the time when Ibu Kartini lived..
Girls are not allowed to go to school..
They're not allowed to go to work either..
Only boys are allowed to do those things..
Girls have to stay home, and take care of the children, the daddy, the house..
They're just allowed to sew, to cook, and other house's stuffs

Catching the moment,
I jumped right away..
Yes, and now because of Ibu Kartini's effort,
girls have the same chance to be as good as boys, even better..
Girls now can go to schools as high as they want to..
Girls now can work at any positions, as anything as they will..
Girls can be doctors, dentist, architects, teachers..like me..

Maybe, lost of interest..
Or tired of school..
But surely, it was one of those smart stuffs that they like to come up with..
and definitely, it's one of those sweet things that they like to think off..
They immediately cut me off..

Bu..imagine, if we lived at the same time when Ibu Kartini lived..
Ibu, you don't have to go to work..
You can stay home the whole day with us..
That'll be cool..

Wow, Dear God..
Maybe for some people, feeling as deep as I felt is such a drama Queen thing
But for me..
I paused, took a good look at them..
my eyes started to get wet, hugged and kissed them..
Love you boys, with all my heart..

A Proud Mom..

Last Sunday, is one of those days that I was really proud of my boys..

My husband always says, that my kids inherit my balance..

which is not a good thing.. Despite of sucking in all that involves balancing..

the simplest thing, that I get embarassed the most is.. my ability in riding a bicycle..

When I was younger, the age when you really wanted and started to learn how to ride a 2 wheeled bike, I wasn't that eager to do it..

I lean on my helping wheels, until it bent..

and when it was already bent, I stopped riding it..

Up until, it were my sisters' time to learn.. I was already in high school *OMG..*

My fear of falling from the bike had gone long time ago..

My embarassement out of doing something stupid

while I was learning doesn't matter at all..

So, those were all out of the way..

But still, that doesn't mean my balance became better..

I ended up, wobbly and couldn't ride slowly..*because it's easier to keep your balance when you're speeding..hihihi*..

and mainly, I couldn't make a turn..*What a disgrace..ck..ck..ck..hahaha*

Well, I thought..I didn't need to ride a bike anyway..

Until it's time my first son's time to learn how to ride a bike..

OK, Ayah..it's your responsibility to teach him!

But, you know dads..their time for the kids is not as much as mommies'..

So, my first kid learned it late as well..

Eventually, in the second grade, he's able to ride it, though he had his bike since he was in the first grade..

But, he's more into his skateboard..

so, I rarely see him ride his bike..

The same thing happened to my second son..

It also took him a year, to have the guts to ride his..

It was just a couple of days ago..*lol*

he's so motivated, because the twins has already able to ride a bike..

Luckily..the twins love to ride their 4 wheels bike since they're in playgroup..

A year later, the helping wheels are all bent..and didn't function.

and by that time, the youngest of them has been able to ride 2 wheeled..*YEAY!!*

the other one is still struggling with 1 bent helping wheel..but he's almost there..

So, well done with the kids..

They just have to smooth it up..

Well, my hubby has been in the biking mood for quite sometime now..

He rides together with his cousin every Saturday..

And they've been pushing me to come along..

No Way!!

And then, my brother in law had this brilliant idea to have his daughter's birthday party at Tony Jack's Thamrin on last Sunday..

But to get there, we had to ride our bikes from Senayan..

because Sunday, in Sudirman is car free day..

Perfect plan..

It's all set up..

with all the uniform t-shirt and buggies for the babies..everything..

Well, not a chance I'm joining that!!

I'm just going to meet them up there..by Trans Jakarta..

The kids were so anxious..

I was worried first, because of my doubt on their ability riding a bike.

and then..their mood along that long way..

to add that condition, we're 10 minutes late.. everyone had started before..

But, nothing's going to put my ass on a bike..

So, I walked behind them..

My husband up front..4 kids..and me, walking..

although, almost on 2/3 way the twins and Raihan lost hope..

and we ended up calling my mother in law's driver to pick us up..

But on the way back from Tony Jack's..

They got really excited, because they're able to start together with the others..

I offered them to ride the Trans Jakarta with me..

but they didn't want to..

They all rode their bike..

Only Tama, lost hope and rode on the back seat of his granny's..

The others, arrived safely..even Rizqi was one of the first to arrived..

For Raihan and Dika, they arrived the latest..

But everyone was very proud of them all..

Great Job Kids!! Proud of You All!!

For me..Off course!! Trans Jakarta..

Don't Worry??

Mommies worry..
That’s what we do best!!
..lol..

We worry about everything, everytime, everywhere..
Some of us, shows it more often..
And the others, try not to show it as much..
Actually, I’m being forced to be the not to show it as much type..
You know..boys!!..Well, my boys.. with their pride as BOYS!!

We worry ever since they’re still in our womb..
Until forever..no limit..
*Hmm.. that explains all the wrinkles and grey hairs I’ve got..
And to think my kids are 10, 7, and 4s..
But yet..I’ve been worried for them all their life*

When I hadn’t got any children of my own..
It’s annoying, sometimes, when my mom worried..
But, ever since I’ve got my first child..
And she still does worries about us..
My sympathy especially goes for my mom..love you mom!!
and for all the mommies everywhere..

When I was pregnant..
Each and every 3 times of them..lol!
I try hard not to worry..
As the elderly says..that’s not good for the baby..
But, most of the time, I just can’t help it..
Even simple, small, ridiculous stuffs make me worry..
Most of them, are usually caused by my own thought..
“Oh..it’s so heavy..I wish, this will go away now..”
“Ah..how I wish I could sleep with my back up..”
“I didn’t plan this pregnancy..and now I’m pregnant with twins..”
And hundreds others complains..
But every time I was thinking those thought..
Astaghfirrullahalaziim…
Sorry baby, I love you baby..didn’t mean to think that..
And then, usually I call my obgyn or go directly there..
Lol..just to make sure they’re OK
And before I could reach my obgyn..
I’d go back and forth to the toilet..
Checking for any bleeding or anything..
Due to what I had just thought..
And pray..Sorry God!!..
The guilty feeling is indescribable..
The regret is overwhelming..

When they’re still reddish newborn babies..
Those were also nerve-wrecking moments..
If they sleep for a short period of time..
I worry..is he Ok
If they sleep for a longer period of time..
I also worry..isn’t he supposed to wake up now..
Is he warm enough..Is he freezing..
Did he drink enough..did he drink too much
Oh no, he can’t burp..

And hundreds and millions more nerve-wrecking moments..

When they’re going through all their first-time moments..
Their first step..
*Isn’t he supposed to walk by now..
Maybe there’s something wrong with his feet*

Their first word..
*Isn’t he old enough to say understandable words..
Maybe there’s something wrong with his tongue? *

Their first trip to the doctors..
*What if, he catch a disease from other patient..*
Their first trip to the mall..
*What if, he catch a disease from other people at the mall..*

Up until..
Their first day at kindergarten..
Their first day at playgroup..
Their first day at 1st grade..
Their first day at 2nd grade..
…..
Hahahahaha..
Practically it’s every year for every 4 children..
Is it ok to leave them..
What if they need me..
What if they left something home..
Are they going to be ok in their new school, new class, new teachers, new friends..

Endless..

When it comes to school, actually, it’s daily routine worries..
Are they going to eat their meal..
Can they do their exam..
Will they get in trouble with their friends..
Is the teacher going to be upset with them..
Are they going to be ok on the field trip..
Is the field trip bus safe..

Countless..

But to top all the worries I’ve been through, are..
When they’re sick…
We worry that much when they’re healthy..
Just imagine, how worry we are when they’re sick..
From a simple fall cut..
Bleeding head..
Bleeding nose..
Rash..

To
Fevers..
Bad flues..coughs
Diarrhea..
Light typhoid..

Oh My God..just thinking back to when I was worried at those moments..overwhelms me..

And..the greatest things that Mommies do are..
Always being strong..
Always being there for our kids..
Loving them..Unconditionally..

Love you boys..

Can You Spot The Differences..

The first thing, that people ask when they know that you have twins is..
What are their differences?

For me,
they're both very different..
Physically, their attitude, their character, their behavior,..
everything..
They're two very different persons..
They just happened to share the same exact birthday and womb..hahaha..

OK,
These are what people say..
Raihan's, my second son, version:
Tama's the cool one, Dika's the funny one
*yea right rai..very informative!!..hihihi*

My mom's version:
Dika's the one with the nose facing the audience..
*neneeeek...what does that supposed to mean..*

Dika's version:
I'm the one with the chicken pox scar under my left eye..
*very small one di...and it will go away...*

Tama's version:
I'm the one without any front teeth..
*you'll get new teeth eventually tam...*

My version:
Dika's the round-faced one
Tama's the oval-faced one..

*round..oval..what's the difference..huahahaha*

So,
can you tell,
Which one's Who?
